Hello! and welcome to 'Die Hard Props'. If you have been around the Prop Collecting community for a few years you might have come across my website dedicated to original props and costumes from the Die Hard series of films. I started the website as I wanted to share with fellow collectors the vast amount of images and knowledge I had amassed relating to these artifacts. Through various other hobbies and commitments it became too difficult to maintain the website so I made the decision to fold it a few years ago. I get messages every now and then asking about it, and asking if it will ever return. So I have decided to start this blog to bring it back but in a more relaxed and conversational setting.
The aim of the blog is to share with fellow Die Hard collectors images and information relating to original artifacts used throughout the filming of the Die Hard series, right from the original classic through to the various sequels.
In 2006 I purchased what was most likely the largest collection of props from 'Die Hard' to come to market when I acquired the inventory of legendary Die Hard prop master Tommy 'Tom' Tomlinson.
